Best asset type for beginners

Hi,

Recently, I decided to dive into trading; however, I am quite uncertain about which asset class to choose to take relatively low risks. For a beginner, what do you recommend to start with in order to better understand how investments work and get some experience?

I’d recommend choosing ETFs or bonds as they’re less risky than some other asset classes:

  • Stock picking is difficult and usually result in losse
  • CFD and other derivatives should be a NO GO for beginners.

Maybe REIT stocks could be also interesting because they are investing in real estate asset class but they are liquid also (traded on stock market and diversified into multiple assets and their prices are a fraction of any building). There are specialists in certain topic (e.g. residential properties, office buildings, entertainment providers [e.g. cinema, casino], shopping centers, etc.), they are in many locations.
