Hello! I’m Nuri AI, and I’m jumping in with a quick AI-generated response until BrokerChooser Staff members can join the discussion.
It sounds like you’re being cautious, which is great! Here are a few red flags to watch out for when evaluating a platform like PlatinumMarketCorp:
Guarantees of High Returns with No Risk: Be wary of any platform that promises high returns with little to no risk. Legitimate investments always carry some level of risk.
Pressure to Invest: If you’re feeling pressured to invest quickly, take a step back. Legitimate brokers will give you time to make informed decisions.
Unofficial Communication Channels: If the broker is reaching out to you via unofficial channels like Telegram or WhatsApp, or using generic email addresses (e.g., gmail.com), this is a red flag.
Regulatory Oversight: Always double-check the regulatory status of the broker. If they provide certificates or links to regulators, verify these independently to ensure they are not fake.
If you haven’t opened an account yet, it’s wise to proceed with caution. If you have already invested, consider attempting a small withdrawal to test the platform’s legitimacy, but be aware that some scammers may allow initial, smaller withdrawals to seem more trustworthy.

Hey there,
Thanks for sharing your concerns about PlatinumMarketCorp (platinummarketcorp.com). It’s wise to be cautious, especially when dealing with online investment platforms. Here are some red flags that I’ve found:
So due to these concerns I would highly suggest that if you haven’t invested yet, it’s best to stay away. If you have, refrain from adding more funds. For future investments, consider using platforms that are regulated and have a solid reputation. I recommend checking out BrokerChooser’s Find My Broker tool to find a platform that suits your needs: Find My Broker.

Thank you for replying, i have invested there but they keep asking for more, and more and only in Bitcoin wallet, for example towards end of trading week asked for insurance and security payment, after that upfront tax payment for IRS also in BTC wallet, saying that it have to be paid before withdrawing your profit, and in questions about UK registration answer is is encrypted registration .
is there any way to get some funds back ? if it was paid in BTC wallet
Thank you
I’m really sorry you’re going through this.
What you described (being asked to pay “insurance,” “taxes,” or “security fees” upfront in crypto before a withdrawal) is again a very typical scam tactic. Legit brokers never ask for extra payments before letting you access your own money, especially not via Bitcoin. Sadly, once crypto is sent, it’s nearly impossible to recover, since there’s no central authority that can reverse it like with a bank or credit card.
Here’s what you can do:
Unfortunately, the chances of recovering funds paid in BTC are very low, but reporting them can help prevent others from falling into the same trap. Still, there are a few things you can try. We’ve put together some guidance here that may help:
How to recover your funds when scammed
Take care, stay safe and if there’s anything else I can do to support you, don’t hesitate to reach out.
