Is Alphaprotrades in UK a scam

For 3 months now no payments from them. They further not reacting to my messages

Hi there,

thank you for your message. I took a look at this provider and unfortunately it’s a scam.

The reason is that they talk about a regulatory body that doesn’t exist (UK Securities and Investments Commission (UKSIC)). The UK regulatory body is the FCA (Financial Conduct Authority).

Please don’t send any more money to them. We collected a few things here you can try to get your money back: https://brokerchooser.com/forex/regulation/scams#how-to-recover-your-funds-when-scammed

If you have any further questions, please let me know.

Best regards,
Adam

Hi there,

Thanks for your message. I’ve looked into Golden Sphere Agency and it seems to be a scam, especially since you are unable to withdraw your funds, and the broker, Alice Allen, and other agents are unreachable. These are typical warning signs of fraudulent behavior in the brokerage industry.

Here are some additional red flags I found:

  • First of all, no regulatory information can be found of the company. Reliable brokers usually have the name of their regulator and license / regulation number shown in their footer.
  • Secondly, their website lacks an SSL certificate, which is essential for protecting your data. Secure websites have a padlock icon in the address bar and their URL begins with “https://.” Since Golden Spehere Agency doesn’t have this, it indicates poor trustworthiness as legit broker’s domains would always be verified.
  • Thirdly, there’s barely any information online about the company. Lack of transparency and online presence is always a serious red flag.

Unfortunately, the recovery of funds from scam brokers is an extremely complex procedure and chances of success are rather low.

I would recommend checking the following article where we collected a few things you can try to get your funds back: https://brokerchooser.com/forex/regulation/scams#how-to-recover-your-funds-when-scammed.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Best wishes,
Andris

Thank you for your assistance and advice

Hello Andras ,

THANK YOU AGAIN for your response.

Referring to your email , please find the Credential ,l have from ALICE ALLEN , as Foot Note on her emails .
I do not know if they are legit or not ,the HOTLINE ,PHONE NR is not …
I also don’t know if l still can hope for the End of Month ,when she will return to the office ? ( if l remember correctly , after 1 month of INACTIVITY ,the account CLOSES AUTOMATICALLY ? )
Since l can not Withdraw or Deposit without an AGENT’S ASSISTANCE , I am trying to BUY and SELL ,same Commodity as researched on Googles
Forcast ,to stay ACTIVE ( if that would count ? )
Even if my FUNDS are LOST ,I would like to STOP her , from scamming others ,if POSSIBLE ?

REGARDS,
Melita

Hello Melita,

I’m really sorry to hear about your experience, but unfortunately, this type of behavior is typical for scam brokers. At a legitimate online broker, you should be able to deposit and withdraw funds on your own without the need for an agent. Scammers often disappear once they’ve taken money from victims, so it’s unlikely that she’s simply “out of the office”—she will probably never respond again.

Additionally, no legitimate broker would automatically close your account after just one month of inactivity. They may charge inactivity fees, but they wouldn’t close it, especially not within such a short time frame.

Unfortunately, there’s not much more you can do to recover your funds. However, you should report the scam to the financial regulatory body in your country. They oversee brokerage companies and might be able to take action against the scammers and prevent others from falling victim.

I hope this helps, and I’m really sorry for what you’re going through.

Best regards,
Andris
