The reasons are the following:
- First of all, Capitals-gain operates without any regulation from recognized financial authorities. It claims to have certification from the Canadian Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (CADFIRA) and the European Financial Security (FISEU), but these certificates are falsified. Also, I believe both institutes were founded for the sole purpose of presenting scam brokers and fraudulent investment schemes as reputable.
- Secondly, their refund policy has several red flags as well. For example, the mention of a 10% deduction each month for dormant accounts is excessive and unusual compared to industry standards.
