Resident in China and can't open an account at Tradezero

I live in China and I want to open a Tradezero account .I can’t find the China option in the registration page.

But when I find information in brokerchooser ,it says I can open an account at TradeZero if I live in China!

I’m confused.Can someone tell me why and how to open an account at Tradezero in China?Thank you

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Unfortunately, the reason why you can’t find China as an option is that TradeZero is no longer available in China. This was an error on our side, which has been resolved by now.

I personally recommend the following brokers that are available in China and great alternatives of TradeZero:

  • IBKR
  • Saxo
  • TradeStation

I’m looking for a good broker which has easy locates for HTB stocks.I opened an IBKR account recently,but I find it can’t provide short locate when needed,because I enjoy seeking opportunities in stocks with small cap and high volatility.

I’ve found several brokers like Cobra, Centerpoint and Tradezero.Cobra needs a minimum of $30K to open an account.Centerpoint needs a minimum of $50K to open an account.And Tradezero is not accepting accounts from China as of now.

My budget is to deposit $2500 to open an account and I can’t find a suitable broker for shortselling.

I’d really appreciate your advice on brokers that are good for locating hard to borrow stocks. Thank you very much!

Based on your description I recommend the following brokers:

  • Interactive Brokers: ~ 90000 stocks, minimum deposit is $0, score 4.9
  • TradeStation Global: ~ 90000 stocks, minimum deposit is $0, score 4.5
  • Zacks Trade: ~90000 stocks, minimum deposit is $0, score 4.3
  • MEXEM: ~ 90000 stocks, minimum deposit is $0, score 4.1

These brokers are all available in China, offer a wide range of stocks and allow for shortselling.
