I was bumped into the problem I never found before.
I had a wrongly opened palladium long positions last year that are held for months unfortunately. I tried to close it with price averaging and indeed I had a good chance to do this in the beginning this February.
This 3rd of February all other brokers palladium chart (including TW also) showed that price has reached the price of somewhere 1068-1076. Unlike these brokers Pepperstone Palladium chart showed only 1026!!! And because this mispricing I couldn’t close my positions reaching net zero but not loss!!! And I must still holding my long positions and Pepperstone other malpractice is that account very bad swap costs for holding these positions! Really really unfair!
Almost 40-50 unit difference which is amazingly huge! I have no doubt that this broker applied fraudelent mispricing and I have raised their attention abut this unfair and fraudelent practice.
I still waiting for their reply but I decidet to share this fraudelent malpractice on every forum because this is not a small broker but this malpractice must raise awareness and we must stand out against these disgistung practice would never happen again.
Actually I want to know where can I file a complaint besides Pepperstone compliant? Because I want to share this bad experience everywhere and want to get back my money from them of course.
If any had bad or similar mispricing experience with this broker please share it.
I’m Nuri AI, and I’m jumping in with a quick AI-generated response until BrokerChooser Staff members can join the discussion. I’m sorry to hear about your experience with Pepperstone and the issues you’ve encountered with the palladium chart mispricing. Here are a few steps you can take to address this situation:
Contact Pepperstone: You’ve already reached out to them, which is great. Make sure to keep a record of all communications, including emails and chat logs, as they may be useful if you need to escalate the issue.
File a Complaint with Regulatory Authorities: Since Pepperstone is regulated by several financial authorities, you can file a complaint with the relevant regulator. For example, if you’re dealing with Pepperstone’s UK entity, you can contact the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). If it’s their Australian entity, reach out to the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC).
Seek Legal Advice: Consider consulting with a legal professional who specializes in financial disputes. They can provide guidance on your options and help you understand the potential outcomes.
Share Your Experience: As you mentioned, sharing your experience on forums and review sites can help raise awareness. However, ensure that your posts are factual and avoid making defamatory statements.
Consider Mediation Services: Some financial dispute resolution services offer mediation between brokers and clients. This can be a less formal and potentially quicker way to resolve disputes.
Be Cautious of Recovery Scams: Be wary of any offers from companies or individuals claiming they can recover your funds for a fee. These are often scams themselves.
I hope this helps, and I wish you the best in resolving this issue. A human will review your topic shortly and join the conversation to provide further assistance.
Thank you for your swift AI help.
If you can provide me legal advisor or mediation services please share it to me.
And if you can give me some advice where to share my experience - on which forums that have good reputation - please send me some links to examine them.
Sorry to hear you’re dealing with mispricing issues, these can be really frustrating, especially when they impact your ability to close positions fairly. You’re doing the right thing by escalating the issue.
If you haven’t yet, here’s what to do next:
File a Complaint with the Regulator overseeing your Pepperstone account:
FCA (UK) – File a complaint
ASIC (Australia) – Lodge a complaint
CySEC (Cyprus) – Submit a complaint
Escalate to a Financial Ombudsman if applicable:
UK – FOS (Financial Ombudsman Service)
Australia – AFCA (Australian Financial Complaints Authority)
Share Your Experience on reputable forums to warn others:
Just make sure to keep everything factual and avoid making statements that could be seen as defamatory. Also, has Pepperstone responded to you yet? Curious to hear what they’ve said so far.
Unfortunately, I can’t personally recommend a legal advisor or mediation service, but if you go through the regulatory complaints process, they should guide you on the next steps.
Really thank you for the information many of it I haven’t heard of before.
I shared my experience on brokkerchoser and now will share it on forexpeacearmy and later ont Elitetrader and trustpilot but Trustpilot I don’t think it is read by trader community.
Pepperstone already informed me that they have 2 months to reply so until then price is not likely to go back to 1070 territory and the swap costs will be deducted continuously.
Because I am using Pepperstone under Cysec I suppose I can write only to Cysec and not ASIC or FCA.
And I think I can write to AFCA and ombudsman also after 2 months reply time limit from Pepperstone is expired?
These are the questions and don’t know.
Do you have any experience or idea how to handle this 2 monts time?
Thank you
Best regards,
Csaba

You’re right, since your account is under CySEC regulation, you should file a complaint directly with CySEC (file here). ASIC and FCA won’t be relevant in your case.
Regarding escalation:
You can take the case to the CySEC Financial Ombudsman (Ombudsman info) only after the 2-month deadline from Pepperstone has passed and if their response isn’t satisfactory.
AFCA is only for Australian clients, so it won’t apply to your situation.
For now, document everything (emails, trade logs, swap fees, screenshots of the pricing issue) so you have strong evidence if you need to escalate.
So If I understand you weel, then I can file a complaint to CySEc now don’t need to wait 2 month?
Concerning “Trade Logs.”… I know how to find it in mt4 but I should save palladium tradelogs?Because I cannot find any log file only from 2025.02.27
I cannot see older data?
What can I or Cysec see in it?
I am seeking here; MQL4->Logs.
And one last question;
If I would like to know where I pulled my target prices in the last month where can I find info? Because of course in account history I can’t find it.
For example if I would like to know if I modified target prices in january where can I find this relevant information?
Thank you
Csaba

Yes, you can file a complaint with CySEC now—you don’t have to wait for the 2-month period to pass. However, it’s generally recommended to wait for Pepperstone’s response first, as CySEC might ask if you’ve already tried resolving the issue directly with them.
Regarding trade logs, if you’re looking in MQL4 → Logs, those are terminal logs, which only show actions performed on your platform, like logins, connections, and trade attempts. What you actually need is your*MT4 trading history, which you can access like this:
MT4 Account History tab: Right-click in the “Account History” tab and select "All History” to display older trades. If some history is missing, your broker might limit access to past data.
Detailed trading statements: In MT4, go to File → Save As Report to export a full trade report.
Pepperstone’s client portal: If data is missing from MT4, check if Pepperstone’s web platform provides access to more historical trade data.
For modifications to target prices:
If you adjusted a TP in January, you may not see it in the “Account History” tab unless the trade is closed.
Instead, check MT4’s Journal or Trade Logs (if available), but these might only store recent activity.
Pepperstone should have records of all trade modifications, so you could request a detailed transaction history from them.
Thank you for the reply, I have already wrote to Cysec about my trade issue.
Regarding your reply;
1-3. Yes I know about these but because I hold all my positions still that time I declie to close these positions with loss. I will definetely wait for Pepperstone and Cysec response.
Regarding your modification ideas;
I couldn’t find trade logs from those dates I may modified TP’s since mt4 can only store recent activity as you said.
But I may try to ask Pepperstone to provide me all trade modifications if possible.
If any progress will come I will let you know and your community
