Dear All, my last chance to try to find solution. Invested and seems like I always need to support my account month by month without taking out anything since march.2024.
Please advice someone who can check if this is scam, as I would need to pay in more, but have I concerns. Please, please help me out.
Hey there,
I’m sorry to hear that you’re facing such difficulties. And, you’re right, if you’re constantly required to deposit more money to maintain your brokerage account, it could be a sign of a scam. Legitimate brokers typically do not require continuous additional funding without providing returns.
Could you send me an URL to this broker so that I can verify its legitimacy? Also, please don’t send them any more money until I’ve checked it.
Best wishes,
Andris
Thanks a million.
Am I right that you are hungarian? The broker was just calling me again to support my account, cause I am loosing my money. That’s all my savings… Let myself and family down… I hope this could be fixed.
I recorded my last 2 conversation also.
Can I ask for an e-mail address maybe so I can send all I have. I can’t attach extra files.
- https://client.orbisfx.com/ - I can give you my login.
Please please,
Thanks a million,

Hi András,
Have you received my email?
I would need to make up a decision about my account (orbis fx) today. They said by friday I could loose my money cause the swap will eat it up. Is that could be true? I would need to send in 3000eur so I could close some positions and to be able to open new ones.
I am under huge pressure as this is áll my savings. Can you please advise?
Nora

Hi NĂłra,
Thanks for your patience. I’ve checked OrbisFX and unfortunately your intuition was right, it’s a scam.
- First of all, OrbisFX is not regulated by any financial authority. Brokers that lack proper regulation often engage in fraudulent practices.
- Secondly, literally no information can be found of the company. Despite my efforts, I couldn’t find any contact details, nor any documentation of the company’s incorporation. Reliable brokers usually have all these information (e.g. the name of their regulator and license / regulation number) shown in their website’s footer.
- Lastly, their website is poorly constructed. It’s common for scam brokers to have a seemingly good website, but often these sites are hastily put together and lack professional design and functionality. If you inspect the website closer, it reveals numerous flaws such as the content being inserted as a picture, grammatical errors, and unclear navigation. This is a sign of the minimal investment the scammers have made, focusing instead on quick profits from unsuspecting victims.
Regarding the second URL you’ve sent, I couldn’t access the company’s main website. However, the client login portal appears to be poorly constructed, which raises concerns about the platform’s reliability. Additionally, despite extensive searches, I could not find any online mentions or reviews of the business based on the platform’s name, which is another red flag. So, I believe it’s most likely a scam too.
At this point, there’s not much you can do. I strongly advise against sending any more money to them. It’s a common practice that scam brokers ask you to make further deposits in order to maintain your account. They create these elaborate schemes to keep extracting money from their victims.
Also, while swap fees are a legitimate cost in trading, they should not be significant enough to wipe out your entire account quickly unless you are heavily leveraged.
I know it’s frustrating and disheartening, but it’s important to cut off all contact with them and report the scam to the relevant authorities.
The recovery of funds from scam brokers is an extremely complex procedure and chances of success are rather low. However, I would recommend checking the following article where we collected a few things you can try to get your funds back: https://brokerchooser.com/forex/regulation/scams#how-to-recover-your-funds-when-scammed.

Hi Andris

Thanks.

Hi NĂłra,
It’s a rather difficult question. Dealing with a scam involving multiple countries can be quite complex.
In Hungary, you should contact the National Bank of Hungary (MNB) to file a complaint, and report the scam to the local police. In South Africa, you can file a complaint with the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA) and report the fraud to the South African Police Service (SAPS). In Dubai, inform the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) if relevant and report the fraud to the Central Bank of the UAE.
Best,
Andris

Hola Sebastian,
I receiving similar calls from a lady, was way too pushy to start anything. For me not orbisx, but alfaxm.com. But those are the same, the lady had some heavy UK accent (maybe Irish) sometimes hard to hear, before I started anything except giving my personal details, however the trading platform is totally the same, even the authentication reused, except the styling. The lady was quite prepared and bright, like professional. But after searching for the company literally nothing found, empty youtube, linkedin, facebook etc pages. 1 content mostly 0 comment and no activity. Was really suspicious and it seems with this scam campaign hungarians are being the target. The only thing I found this thread , which was human written… They even posted on medium, with 0 follower comment or what so ever. I think they design a new site for each batch of target, the only thing why I caught this result is because the resource was reused in my case “https://trading.tradingservicestrading.com/en/platform”… This band seems to be a professional scam band in this case, be proactive even change password everywhere where you used the password you set on their site, even ask new credit card or whatever you can if you sent them money, just to be sure. God knows how many fake corporation like sites they have and how many target they run paralel. I don’t think the lady will call me back again, because I told her before I do anything will carefully look after the company, but if she does will just press the reject button.
Hi there,
I’m really sorry to hear you’ve been caught up in this situation. Also, thank you for sharing that AlfaXM is a scam. It helps other community members to avoid these providers. I’ll make sure to include it in our scam database as well to ensure others do not fall victim to this provider.
