Does IBKR offer crypto trading service to Canadian residents?

You can trade a limited selection of cryptocurrencies, such as Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Litecoin (LTC), and Bitcoin Cash (BCH), through their platform. These services are facilitated through third-party providers like Paxos and Zero Hash, meaning that clients can trade and hold cryptocurrencies, but the assets are custodized by these providers, not directly owned by the clients. Additionally, IBKR offers access to Bitcoin futures on the CME Group and Bitcoin and Ethereum exchange-traded notes (ETNs) available on regular stock exchanges. However, features like peer-to-peer transactions and external wallet transfers are not available​.

Hello Andris,
First, I was hesitant to reply to your email because your email address does not look like a regular email address. I’m thankful though for replying to my question.

Secondly, I asked this question because I was told by a rep from IBKR that they do not offer crypto trading services to Canadian residents when I tried to trade on my demo account where it said invalid symbol.
So, do I get back to them?
