Heey, I took a look at Sharesies and it’s a trusted broker, regulated in New Zealand. Please find a few other info below:
- Unfortunately, there is no investor protection (here would be an alternative, for example, to use a US broker if buying US stocks, because there is protection there).
- The platform, UI/UX is surely very great. Such a typical innovative, newcomer broker (similar to Stake for example).
- I only briefly looked at the pricing, but overall it seems average. For example, a 0.5% conversion fee is high, but the 1.9% transaction fee (which is capped at $5) is more average. There are also monthly subscription packages that provide free trades up to a certain trade volume, which are also great.
Overall, such a platform is quite good for first-timers, because otherwise very low amounts can also be invested + the platform is surely very great and easy to handle.
Thank you so much Adam! Do you recommend any other option for me.
I am beginner investor with regular small amount of savings.
I preffer to invest in individual stocks
