Bitmarkets: scam or legit?

can you please check whether Bitmarkets is a legit crypto player?

Hey, I took a look at BITMarkets and I wouldn’t recommend using it as:

  • it’s not regulated at all (this is true unfortunately to most crypto exchanges)
  • Based on Coinmarket’s market cap data, Bitmarkets is not the top 100 crypto exchanges. This means it’s not a prominent player at all which is not a great sign.
  • There are multiple negative review on Trustpilot.

If you would like to use crypto exchanges, I’d recommend using Coinbase as it’s a public listed company and one of the most reliable crypto exchanges. Also, you can use any of these exchanges listed on the screenshot and not suspended (they’re exchanges that satisfy strict criteria from CME to provide data to Bitcoin futures’ reference price):
