Why is my Charles Schwab account giving me problems while withdrawing process ?

Thank you for your message. Normally, you should have no problem withdrawing your funds from Charles Schwab.
There’s a couple of things to consider here:
- The most important thing is that you can only withdraw uninvested cash from your brokerage account. If all of your funds are invested, you need to close some or all of your positions first to make the necessary amount of cash available in your broker account.
- At Charles Schwab, you can only withdraw your money using a bank transfer.
- Withdrawals from a brokerage account are rarely instant. When I tried withdrawing funds from Charles Schwab, I had to wait two business days for the money to arrive.
- You can only withdraw funds to bank accounts that are in your name.
- Please make sure you are not being scammed by a clone website which is pretending to be Charles Schwab. Also, sophisticated new tech support scams are targeting clients of financial institutions so please be careful.
