# Deposit & withdrawal with a foreign bank account

Hi there,

I have a lightyear account and I’m curious if I can deposit and withdraw from a bank account that is not local in the country where I reside?

Yes, you can deposit Lightyear from banks in almost any country. The difference could be in cost or time. If it’s a SEPA transfer, it’ll be cheap and quick. If it’s an international transfer (SWIFT), then it could be costly and long.
